CVT Transmission
The optional CVT engine features double clutch technology for smooth and efficient operation. An Active Stop capability allows for ease of stopping and starting tractor on inclines. Minimum creeper speed is 66 feet per hour. The automatic mode saves fuel and allows you to focus on other tasks.​

The Puma 220 features a powerful 220 hp engine with a max boosted hp of 260. With its SCR emission reducing technology, the Puma 220 runs cleaner and more efficiently, reducing your operating costs by up to 10% without sacrificing power.​

The Case IH Puma 220 has 12,787 lb (5,800 kg) hitch lift capacity with an optional 15,200 lb (6,894 kg) hitch lift capacity. The high volume, compensating hydraulic system pumps a total 47 gpm (178 Lpm), up to 56.6 gmp (216 Lpm) with the addition of an optional 39.6 (150 Lpm) main implement pump. ​​​
