Frame CTC

The CTC can be equipped with 3 or 4 rows of tines.

  • The CTC can be equipped with 3 rows of tines positioned at either 270mm or 330mm spacing.
  • When fitted with four rows of tines the tine distance is 200mm, ensuring optimum mixing and intensive cultivation.
  • A maximum working depth of 30cm is possible
  • The wing shares, when fitted, ensure that the entire working width of the machine is cultivated even when the machine is adjusted for shallow work.
  • The high inter-row clearance up to a maximum of 150cm and the underbeam clearance of 87cm ensure blockage-free operation under any conditions.
  • The outer wings are pre-loaded by hydraulic accumulators and can be adjusted to suit the various field conditions

CTC Tines and Shares

KV_tine technology_0008.jpg
  • The unique and robust design of the tines incorporates a specially heat treated hollow “C” profile.
  • The heat treatment is of the same standards as the beams on the Kverneland ploughs.
  • The tine leg can withstand sideway movements of up to 20cm. This means lower stress to the tine holder and frame structure.
  • The "Auto-reset" tines being used on the CTC cultivators are heat treated just like reversible ploughs, parts which are known for high quality and long lasting.
  • Two different types of tines can be combined with a variety of share systems allowing working depths between 5cm and 30cm.
  • The CLC tine: with the 60mm plough point
Each tine is provided with a reversible and removable point made from high quality steel for maximum service life. This allows the CTC to work at great depths even in stony soil - eliminating plough pans and in this way encouraging natural drainage.
  • For stubble cultivation the CLC tines can be equipped with 30cm wing shares.
  • The CLD Tine: The CLD tine has a steeper cutting angle. The optional quick lock share allows a quick retro-fitting of the tines with double wing shares.
  • For both tines the Kverneland leaf spring safety system for hard and stony conditions is used.

CTC leaf spring / Vibromat

  • For lighter conditions Kverneland offer the CLC tine with shearbolt overload protection.
  • This version of the CLC tine offers the same high quality as that of the „Auto-reset“ tine, and is releasing from 2 tons. The Kverneland CLC tine equipped with the “Auto-reset“ leaf spring safety system is the perfect choice for hard and stony conditions.
  • The well renowned Kverneland leaf spring protects the tines against overload.
  • The release pressure can be adjusted if required.
  • All pivot points of the CLC tines are manufactured with wear resistant bushes and bolts of the renowned Kverneland quality.
  • Therefore the CLC tine system is maintenance-free
